Yesterday night Soon Wei Ting, my unseen-yet-known o.0 OG group leader called me up for the size of my Orientation T-shirt. This call officially sounded the ending bell of my holiday enjoyments and I would be thrown into the world of Junior Colleges in 2 day's time.

Did I use the word "thrown"? Ok, maybe not thrown, it's more like proceed. Though I have some regrets in moving on to the next stage of my life, I can't resist the excitement of seeing totally new things (Not the school compound of course) and meeting new friends.

Later today I will be going off to my friend's for a party, and tomorrow I will be pretty busy preparing for HCJC's orientation stuff, so I will set my New Year's Resolution here and now:

Note: Although I will probably fulfill a minimum amount of these things..

1. Spread Gospel to more people! God comes before all worldly things
2. Er, Study hard? HAHA, more like put more serious effort into my studies, it's JC afterall
3. Be more erudite in terms of my expression of English
4. 对语文来说也是如此
5. Leave an impact (of course positive) in my new school
6. Improve my singing skills (need lots) =P
7. Always remain hepful and kind to people in need

That's more or less the epitome of my goals. From now onwards I will improve my vocabulary by sharing one of them online everyday! =]. I will start off with the DOTA series.

DOTA might seem like something created by game-addicts who only look at numbers and graphic codes, but alas no! Thee hath powerful English backgrounds behind the heroes!

Today's hero is Darchrow-the Enigma. Why Enigma? From looking closely at the heroes' names, I've realised that most heroes' names have a meaning suited to their skills and likes (Maybe apart from Fuzzy-Wuzzy) and Enigma here means a mystery and puzzle, which explains Enigma's dank looking skills and his shape and form.

Here I wish an early Ebullient New Year for everyone who reads my posts! =]

Ok, after my sudden out burst last post, I have decided to recount what have I done in the past 2 weeks, and I will chat about philosophical stuff next time, not this post, MAYBE.

Well, it's time for the Singapore part of the story. Yanne, thanks for your posts, so I know that I have a friend who I mattered to. See you next year in HCJC. I have been busy last week with the preparations of the Christmas Eve Party in my Church, especially when I am the OS of this event. Small Church, big celebrations, haha. I would like to thank Xiao Xing, Yu Xiao, Xia Lu, Xing Yi and Xin Ya, for your commitments and great cooperation, where without them this event would never be a success. I would also like to thank Pei Chi, Jia Kai, Jia Jia and Chen Lao Shi for your help in making this party a success, and everyone else who came to suport this event. Lastly I would like to thank Sun Shuo for your spontaneous participation and your help in organising the music for the drama! Thank you all!

I slacked alot during the hols, played alot to. Went out with Sun Shuo one day for K-box =P, haha, that was fun. Wanted to go out for pool and swimming and whatever else, apart from Movies. So who's interested PM me. =]

Ahh, I finally forced myself to do some writing after my trip to my birthplace, Shanghai. I will update my whereabouts and things I did in Singapore at a later date, cause I really feel emo right now.

What is the feeling of leaving your most treasured companions and life to start afresh? Elation? Sadness? Unwillingness? I guess some people know, I guess some people choose to forget about them. It's almost been a full decade since I first set foot on Singapore. Back then, I dreaded coming here, dreaded leaving my closest cousins, those two I conisder my own brother and sister. Everytime I think about my memories, about my past and my home back there, I experience a tearing sensation in my heart. The yeras have dulled it, but the pain will never go away.

I enjoyed staying in Singapore, I have come to appreciate and like this place. I have stayed here longer than I have been in Shanghai. But I wonder and I will probably always wonder why everytime, at the end of each year, when I set foot upon my birthplace, the familiar sight and smells simply overwhelm me. To paraphrase a quote from Zhi Bin, "I [can]... never get enough of the place". A part of me belonged there. I cant remove it, and I do not want to remove it.

Yanne, thanks for your post; it seems like I have made a new friend in my soon to come JC life beforehand already haha. I promised to write in Chinese too, so I will do what I do best.

I have just realised that my blog is TOTALLY stagnant, like some of my friends =P.

I should update it before it rots off haha. Recently I had scads of stuff to do, so I threw blogging aside. Today I will just ramble in English cause after all typing is fastest in this language. I think.

Those who have my MSN contact you see a CountDown there. it's the time I am going back to Shanghai for a SHORT break. Yes SHORT. 9 days -.-, I will be back on the 19th, so my friends anyone who wants nice little trinklets from Shanghai PM me anytime, anywhere before the CountDown reaches 0.

I had quite a few outings with my friends, some from pri sch, some from Church. And I actually had my first family outing in how long? A few months? If it's only the famil then that's Eons ago. My parents and I went out to swim in CCK swimming complex; the swimming pool is standard, the single slide there is crowded and derelict (HAHA joking), the wave pool gives waves that could not move me off my feet easily and the little river can be covered in 10 secs -.-, anyway despite all these I really enjoyed time with my parents, as a family, as a single unit of social life. A unit that I believe started the modern human Civilization.

It's been awhile since I've talked about the big and philosophical stuff. Target audience matter =P. But I shall and will ramble now, about my dreams and thoughts, the more abstract and abtruse things of life. I have recently taken to a test prep, which explains some of the minute changes in the way I speak (If there are any changes at all). I wanted to go overseas for University, so I am trying to improve my English to Rui Yi and Rui Zi's standard. Sounds far-fetched but I must aquicse with myself that with some hardwork I can get som results.

Lately I have been thinking about what will happen if I was not a single Child fomr the one child policy of China. Someitmes I feel so painfully lonely I wished I had a brother. Someone who can share, at least part or thereof, my interests and PLAY and LAUGH and even quarrel with me. Of course the final answer is NO. Impossible, Unachievable, Unattainable. More like too late for me. Argh. But on the other hand, as I looked around my room, my personally developed area with its 2.22m LEGO twin tower (PM me for pictures), my soft toys and wooden bricks (YES I like certain soft toys too) The bed and my self made basketball ring, I realised the reall meaning of freedom and the idea of owning something myself. I have no siblings to bug me over the way I furnish my room, the way I orgniase my things, the way I want my privacy. My universe is not encroached upon. Yes, my very OWN space, my very own mind floats in this small area. It's not a bad feeling after all.

It's alittle late right now, in fact it's 1.13 AM. The posting times are always a scam. -.-They simply stamp the second I click the NEW POST button and leave it be -.-, but it dosent matter. What matter is I am going to sleep

晚安!
Guten Nacht!
Good Night!
